Relaxed and Floaty, Tiered Boho Wedding Dress
Gemma is the ultimate boho bride, in a relaxed and floaty chiffon dress and flowing hair, married at a beautiful venue in Devon.
The striking feature of this dress is the silk chiffon frill which falls from the neckline to the waist creating a tier, cut longer at the back, to flow with the cut of the low back. Underneath a silk crepe layer, trimmed with lace that just peeks out from the chiffon top layer.
The skirt is a fairly straight, but flared shape, and embroidered with sprigs of floral lace at the hem and on the train.
The neckline is embroidered with delicate lace flowers, and a subtle scattering of beads.
I also made Gemma a matching arm cuff, using the delicate floral lace and beads from the dress, and adding some little droplets too.
The photographer happened to be Emma from Freckle Photography who I met a few years ago on a Mr and Mrs Unique project, so it was lovely to discover her and her work again in such a small wedding world! (Here’s a link to Emma’s website www.frecklephotography.co.uk)
