Pink Ombre Silk Flower Wedding Dress

Wilden London was recommended to Beth by former Wilden Bride Alice, who also enjoyed a pink wedding dress.

Beth had scribbled a vision of her wedding dress onto a napkin and sent it over to me.

Beth had already bought her slip dress, but wanted a show-stopping wedding dress with ombre pink flowers rigid from the hem, along with a fluffy bow at the neckline.

Of course, I was only too happy to make it for her.

A tulle dress was made to fit over, and over lap the lines of the halter slip ever so slightly. Lace trimmed the neckline to add depth to the florals against the sheer tulle.

Hundreds of silk flowers were formed and hand painted in all shapes and sizes to create texture and variation.

For an added challenge, Beth asked for the effect to be an ombre gradient, ranging from barbie pink bridal at the tips, and fading to ivory to blend with the slip dress underneath.
